  • Click on sign up.
  • Provide all the information about your website/blog
  • Click on the blue button saying “Get Tracking ID"
  • Check the terms and condition box.


After completing the process, new page will appear with Tracking code Id, Two ids will appear first one for blogspot blog and second one for Wordpress blog. Copy the first Code to add tracking code to your blog. Now Google analytics chapter is closed. In the second step we will learn how to add this tracking Code to your blogger blog.

Adding Google Analytics to Blogger Blog


Adding tracking code to your blogspot code is easy, you have to follow some simple steps,
1. Go to blogger blog.
2. Open dashboard
3. Scroll down and click on the Template Section, press Edit HTML button.
3. In the HTML editor. Click on ctrl+F to find </head> tag.
4. after finding </head> tag, paste the tracking Code id just above it, you copied from the Google Analytics page.
5. Save the Template.

Congratulation you are done. Google Analytics will now start tracking your Stats onward.

Most of time Google Analytics take up to 24 hours to start showing traffic stats about your blog. You can view and analyze the traffic on your blog on Google Analytics dashboard. You can add multiple blogs in Google analytics on account. Google analytic will track all the information about your blogs traffic.
