How To Add Meta Description In Every Blogger Post

What is Meta Description:

Meta description is small piece of HTML code or XML file that describes the web pages to Search engine' bot. we can also define it as the information of the web page to crawler that what kind of content web page contain. It helps search engine to place your web page on proper place. Search engine also shows this description in search results so the visitors may know what kind of content page have.

Meta Description In Every Post With Blogger:

By default In Blogger  Meta description option is disable. we have to enable it so we can use it later. In this tutorial we will learn how we can enable meta tag for your homepage of your blogger. later we will see how to enable meta description tag for every post. follow these simple steps:

• Go To Blogger
• Go To Settings
• Go To Preferences

Now a text box will appear where you have to write your description for your blog. Description must be unique. Place important keywords of your blog. Make sure it doesn't exceed 160 characters.

Click the button Save Changes.

Meta  Description Tag In every Blogger Post:

As you enable meta description tag for homepage, Blogger also enable tags in every post. Now You edit any post or create a new new. You will see Search Description in the sidebar where you can write description for the post.

Now every time you create new page or post write small description about post or page content so search engine can easily crawl your web pages.
